Our farm is located on 45 riverfront acres just south of Eugene, Oregon. We are a family farm focused on breeding silver grey, rose grey and dark colored alpacas with superior fleece. We left a busy urban life in San Francisco for a life in the country, and we have never looked back. Alpacas have given us an opportunity to connect to our land and animals, and raise our family in a wholesome, rewarding environment. We named our farm “Silver Spoon,” because our goal is to ensure, through carefully planned breeding and a nurturing environment, that we breed the best possible "silver" or grey alpacas. This means giving our animals fresh, natural pasture, the best veterinary care, breeding to outstanding and award-winning foundation animals, and providing lots of loving care. Because of our small size, we are able to focus on each of our individual animals and our customers. We are absolutely committed to providing ongoing support and service to our alpaca buyers, whether first-timers or experienced breeders. Our setting is perfect for day visits or weeklong stays, with lots to see and do in beautiful Oregon.
