You cannot pick a more beautiful grey boy than this one! He comes out of bloodlines from Magical Farms (MFI Ankara, a rose grey dam with incredible fineness) and Shaquille-line genetics (Scimitar, Shaquille's grey half brother).

From the day of birth, Hirst's fleece has shown beautifully defined crimp, and it has continued to develop with nice structure, density, fineness and handle. Check out his fleece in the pictures on this site. His IgG was over 2000. He has excellent conformation, a nice temperament and is well halter trained. He was shorn for the second time at almost exactly one year of age, and his 2008 histogram (no cria tips) confirms his excellent finess at 18.3 microns with 4.4 micron deviation and 2.7% fibers greater than 30 microns! His mother continues to hold 19 micron fineness at 5 years of age, and we believe that Hirst will do the same and pass on this fineness and consistency to his offspring. He also has a very uniform color with almost no spots.

His genetics are rare on the West Coast, and as you can tell from the pictures, he already has that herdsire "presence"! We will be offering him for breedings in 2009 at an introductory price of $500.
