Silver Spoon Basquiat

Gorgeous silver grey male who has taken top ribbons at the largest alpaca shows on the West Coast, including Reserve Championship at the 2010 AWE (Level V Halter), as well as 1st at 2010 AWE, 1st at 1st at 2009 Pasco,1st at 2009 AlpacaMania, 2nd at 2009 Alpacapalooza, 2nd at 2009 AWE (to the Reserve Champion), and 2nd at CABA (to the Palooza Reserve Champion).  In fact, Bas has never failed to take first or second at any show in which he's been entered.  In his most recent show, he placed - as a yearling - above a 2 year old male in the championship class that won purple the last two years at AOBA Nationals!

Judges have praised Bas' fleece for its bold character, design and tightness of fleece style, and incredible density, as well as his stylish conformation.  At 2010 AWE, the judge noted that he has "outstanding staple," was "extremely uniform with both white and dark fibers," and has "a very tight and stable crimp with great density".  This should be no surprise - his father is the famous grey herdsire, Aussie Rockford, and his mother is a multi-champion rose grey from our foundation herd, Sweet Romance.

Bas will begin breeding this year at an introductory price of $2,500 for the first 10 breedings.
