Emerald Farms Hollister Cloud
Hollister Cloud is a blue ribbon medium silver grey son out of Orlando Cloud. Like his famous sire, Hollister has extremely soft fleece with beautiful architectural structure and no guard hair. His fleece is unbelievably fine - 17 microns - so much so that it has been our biggest challenge in showing him! In addition to the fineness, his fleece exhibits tremendous uniformity and consistency, and the handle has to be felt to be believed.
Hollister has excellent conformation and a deep silver-blue color, with a compact body and gorgeous head. He has taken three blue ribbons, including at two of the largest shows on the West Coast. Judges have complimented his beautiful fleece architecture and his incredible fineness, which has held as a yearling. At AWE 2009, a Level IV show, Judge Tim Lavan complimented his fineness as being "leaps and bounds" beyond the fleece of all other animals in his class. Hollister's father is the famous Orlando Cloud. His genetics on his dam's side are also impressive with many generations of color, including a grey sire going back six generations! Hollister is not available for outside breedings. |
